I think Chester are also still under a transfer embargo! Personally I wouldn't mind if they did go down, they've achieved nothing since their return to the League and they probably should have been relegated last season. A 0-0 saved them in the final week.

The Bournemouth co-owner who wants to sell up is apparently a Chester fan. That has inevitably led to rumours that he wants Bournemouth to go into administration again to save his club.

2 wins in a row for us now including a good win at the Priestfield but we're still short of the top 3. We need a bit more of the same. Yea, that was a shock win for Bradford on Sat, didn't expect Gillingham to lose. Its strange, for probably 18 months/2 and a half seasons its been their away form thats been the problem. Had it not been for this i firmly believe they would have stayed up comfortably last season, or would be strong contenders to finish in the Top 3 this season. They've always been good at Priestfield. But they've actually won their last 3 away games, while losing their last 2 at home Finishing in the playoffs would be a good season as i tipped them to miss out at the start of the season.

We won again but so did all of the rest of the top 8 apart from Wycombe who lost against us.

Notts brushed Barnet aside on Saturday without ever playing well. Most people think Barnet are the worst team we've played this season. Well they must be pretty bad because we've scored 6 goals against them and conceded 0!! Anyway, at the bottom the momentum appears to be with Bournemouth, therefore it's looking worrying for Barnet, Chester, Grimsby and Accrington who'll be fighting to survive. I still think it'll be Chester who drop out of the league this season.

Incredible game at Priestfield last night, actually seems like it was worth the 20 odd quid that Gillingham charge for tickets. The Gills letting slip a 3-1 lead (they were actually 3-4 down at one stage) to draw 4-4 with Aldershot!

Bad for us, drew 0-0 with Darlington and Omar Daley picked up a knee injury and he is a key player for us. Keeper also picked up a slight injury that may keep him out a couple of weeks. We visit Barnet next and although they are bottom apart from the point deductions, they got a 3-3 draw at our ground when they visited. We've tightened up our defence on the whole but did also draw 3-3 at Luton a few weeks ago.

You really should beat Barnet! I was surprised to see they have Paul Furlong playing for him, he must be rather ageing now!

I do hope Barnet or Chester drop out of the league this season, Chester, so I could maybe go watch the Stags away game there next season.

You have to think in terms of next season in the BSP. Who would prove the biggest threat to Mansfield's promotion push? Clearly Bournemouth or Grimsby as they are more stable clubs. Luton will certainly be favourites for promotion next year from the BSP but I think both Chester and Barnet could struggle again if they go down.

I'm not sure if relegation might be the straw that break's the camel's back with Luton? Can they really survive all these relegations? I would like them to stay up and Chester/Barnet come down, but it's unlikely Luton will gain that much ground on them? Surely they will lose half their team over the summer and probably do an Oxford and struggle. I'm hoping Gateshead come up as that's a game I can get to as well, Tamworth and Telford are a bit too far south, but could get there at a push...

He was brought on loan possibly by Pardew i think about 5 seasons ago, and my dad and I thought he looked pacey and bright when coming off the bench in one game we saw and then he just disappeared...

Luton will certainly be favourites for promotion next year from the BSP but I think both Chester and Barnet could struggle again if they go down. Thats assuming Luton are in BSP next season. Read about their situation recently and the Conference said that they would not admit Luton to the BSP because of their poor financial state, like with Boston. If they haven't turned around their financial situation by next summer they will not be allowed in BSP. And if they still havn't sorted it out the year after, they will be expelled from the conference altogether.

So Luton would be kicked down to below Conference South? That would be the death of them! I assume that means that only 3 would be relegated from the Conference then? Hopefully they will show they are financially ok by the end of the summer? Do you have a link to the thread about it Tom?

Forest Green seem to survive in the BSP by pure luck every season by teams being expelled or going bust!

Oh and back to League 2, Barnet 4-1 Bradford City, what happened there?

Oh and back to League 2, Barnet 4-1 Bradford City, what happened there? I predicted that scoreline, but for the other teams. So Barnet 1-4 Bradford. Gutted really.

Yes it would be 3, and with Weymouth going to the wall only Northwich and Lewes would be 'relegated'. There is hope for Barrow yet, yay
