Kyle Lafferty doesn't want to play football against them he enjoys one of those South American hobbies of football fights! Well known red card achiever who doesn't get a look in at Norwich very often.

When will the group stage draw take place? The group stage draw will be on 12 December. Apart from hosts France and champions Spain, who are guaranteed a place in Pot 1, the seeding is decided by UEFA National Team Coefficients, for which this page is an excellent resource. Wales and Northern Ireland will definitely be in Pot 4, while England will join France, Spain, Portugal and Germany in Pot 1. Assuming Netherlands get knocked out, the last spot in Pot 1 is between Belgium and Italy; if Belgium fail to beat Israel, then Italy will take the seeding place with a win against Norway. It looks like Ireland are on the borderline between seeded/unseeded for the play-offs, but more likely to be unseeded.

Really pleased for Northern Ireland, and especially their captain Steven Davis, who is one of Southampton's unsung stars. I'll also give Oliver Norwood a mention too. Watched the last half an hour of the Greece game and from that and seeing the goals afterwards he had a good game, which came as no surprise at all given his excellent start to the season for Reading.
England and Wales have qualified, and Republic of Ireland may qualify as well (though I have my doubts) but what Northern Ireland have done puts them all in the shade. Never done anything before, in the time I've been a football fan anyway, and have done it with few players who play in the Premier League, and those that do aren't household names. Most of their players seem to play in the football league or in Scotland.

The playoff draw will take place next Sunday. And is live on Sky Sports News from 10am, when it seems they will also announce the dates of each tie.
Might try and catch that.

Scotland beat Gibraltar- I'm underwhelmed. Even the score line wasn't anything to celebrate. I thought they would win 6-0. I haven't looked into the number of goals that all the minnows have conceded in this qualifying campaign but they must be the worst team of the lot. I kinda hope they improve when they have players from British leagues playing for them, including one from Ashford United of all places!

Goals conceded: Gibraltar 56 (10 games) Andorra 34 (9 games) San Marino 34 (9 games) Luxembourg 23 (9 games) Liechtenstein 23 (9 games) No others more than 20. Gibraltar have been the worst of the lot by a large distance this time around. This is largely due to San Marino's improvement - they let in 50+ goals in the previous two qualifying campaigns. This time, historically, they managed to avoid defeat in a qualifier for the first time in 13 years (and the first time ever in a Euro qualifier).

3rd place table:
1. Hungary 8-15 (+3) ---------------------------- 2. Croatia 8-14 (+12) 3. Ukraine 8-13 (+7) 4. Denmark 8-12 (+3) 5. Sweden 8-12 (+2) 6. Ireland 8-12 (+1) 7. Slovenia 8-10 (-1) 8. Turkey 7-9 (+1) 9. Bosnia 7-8 (-2)
Hungary will finish as the best 3rd place team unless Turkey beat Iceland tomorrow and Kazakhstan beat Latvia to move off the bottom of Group A. That scenario would give Turkey an extra 4 points + the 3 for beating Iceland, putting them on 16.
