Iceland have players with the opposite attributes of those of England. Johann Berg Gudmunsson for example plays brilliantly for his country but often fails to turn up when playing for his club. Actually he was our best player of 2014-15 and last season really we were just awful. No proper tactics, no strategy, etc. A bit like England in Euro 2016 but worse and obviously with less talented players. Oh, I was under the impression that Gudmundsson had a good season last season? Wasn't he right up there for number of assists for the Championship? Some of the Reading fans thought he might be a worthwhile signing. Tbh, could have imagined us going for someone like him in the past, we did used to like our Icelandic players, doubt that's the case anymore though...

He had a very good season in 2014-15 when we finished 12th.
We do question whether we can keep him this season. And if not, his performances in Euro 2016 could attract a decent fee, which hopefully would give us a good budget to bring more players in.

Portugal haven't won a match in 90 minutes, but are in the semi-final.

Portugal haven't won a match in 90 minutes, but are in the semi-final. Its a fluke... hoping Belgium get through tomorrow and beat them in the semis. Overall the match has been very dull to watch, I love to slap Ronaldo across the face with a wet fish.

What manager brings Fellaini on? So if the Welsh win, will the Belgian media go into meltdown, surely a bigger shock than mediocre England losing to Iceland?

I know the most important is to win the finale but PLEASE, win at least one game before that or that would be a pityful win.

Why is it 3 minutes added time every time, just encouraging teams to time waste.

Georges Simenon, Hercule Poirot, Tin Tin, Captain Haddock, Plastic Bertrand, Brian Molko, Jean-Claude van Damme, your boys took one hell of a beating.

Kudos to Wales never expected them to reach the semis, its been the year of the underdogs, I'm fully convinced its going to be a Wales vs Iceland final, with Ramsay missing the semis, they really have to keep it together to beat Portugal. Also it seems a pattern is forming 1992 Denmark won, 12 years later Greece won, 12 years later Wales or Iceland... Go Figure.

I had something similar prepared for Monday evening. But I could not use it. Still at least they'll be dancing in the streets of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch tonight.

It took me years to master the pronunciation of that place.

England - 5 Spurs players - lose to Iceland. Belgium - 3 Spurs players - lose to Wales.
And Spurs finished third in the two horse final run in to the 2015-16 EPL.
England won the 1966 World Cup because they dropped their top goalscorer Jimmy Greaves who was the only player in the squad who played for ...... Spurs.

So just over a week after sticking the middle finger up at Brussels, Wales now does the same to the whole of Belgium...
Incredible to think that this is a team that lost to England just over 2 weeks ago.

Turns out all 3 Wales goalscorers last night were born in England.

The best thing about Wales winning is that the English players and media will have to find some different excuses for England's poor performance. We can't blame 'the long season' as many Welsh players play more league games in the Championship, and we can't blame lack of opportunities in the big teams, coz it is exactly the same for Wales.
