I'm loving the action today. Three more medals in three different sports including a completely unexpected Gold in K1 Canoe Slalom Gold by 23 year old Joe Clarke.
What a time to achieve his first individual World class K1 victory, having previous had two 2nd's in ICF Canoe Slalom Grand Prix events.

Here comes the medal rush!
Great excitement watching Joe Clarke win gold. Reminiscent of the C2 gold from 2012.
Sally Conway will fight for a judo bronze later.
Jack Laugher and Chris Mears leading the synchro 3m springboard diving at the halfway stage.
Max Whitlock and Nile Wilson in the men's all-around gymnastics final...

Splendidly unexpected result by Joe Clarke. He had a strong run in the semi-finals, and saved his best for the final. Good lad.
(Staffordshire currently 11th in the medal table, with 2 golds).

Bonus medal for GB. Target for Judo was 0.
Excellent, although a rather tense 3 minutes as an armchair spectator.

Amazing. I'm running out of superlatives. Laugher and Mears were strong on every dive, and consistency won them the gold. I'm so pleased to see this. Well done boys.
(Inspiring back story for Mears, involving a near fatal injury).

Today is most definitely the day that Team GB turned up the heat at these Olympics. Brilliant stuff.

Surely, in order to be consistent, Laugher should be "Tom Daley's former synchronised partner".

Another really solid, consistent performance by a Brit earns a medal. Well done Max Whitlock.
