Bay City Rollers--Rebel Rebel
It's on their "It's a Game" album and Leslie sings the line "put on your dress" instead of "you've torn your dress."

It's much worse in US you have the channel ident, a rating and usually an ad for an upcoming show in the bottom corner Very true. It makes me mad that when I watch a show and it's showing the name of the person in the picture or other information, one of these comes on and blocks it before the information and stays on the screen long after the information you wanted to see has disappeared!

This one…
(BTW, it was #1 in both the US and UK at the time…)
But actually I like this version better, although it wasn't the version that was #1 when I was born…

That's like paying $30 in US currency for a CD! To me that would be highway robbery!

Elvis Presley: I was downstairs listening to the radio when I heard something about a death and Elvis Presley. I first thought it was someone connected to Elvis but found out later that it was Elvis who died.
John Lennon: Like a lot of Americans, I first heard of the death of John Lennon on "Monday Night Football" when Howard Cosell broke the news that John Lennon had been shot to death outside his apartment building.

I never listen to them after Christmas. I get burned out.
But then I start again on the day after Thanksgiving…

Both in the UK and US:
"Young Love" by Tab Hunter.
(I actually prefer the version by Sonny James)
