are you joking, sounds a lot like a guetta-meets-basshunter (euro-housey) whatever....shocked to see its actually swedish house mafia behind it. better than THE, but most likely SHM's worst work to date.
and to be honest THE's problem wasn't its samey-ness, it was its overall crappy finished artefact x

Went into some sort of buying frenzy a la itunes today:
Bought the new EP from Daniel Bedingfield (absolute bargain, and is worth the full price tag for the title track alone, "Secret Fear")
Bought the Mark Ronson/Katy B olympic track, mainly cos i've not heard it, great production from ronson as always, not sure whether I really like after a first listen...Katy B imo not the best choice for vocals on the track...
Radical Face - Welcome Home

will labrinth be droppped too then? his single was the "sure fire number one" which never was, and i don't think there's even been a follow up, and if there has, it probably bombed...and when i read that article that cowell had reportedly handed robert pattinson a blank cheque with his name on it for a one-album deal, (even though he declined), it makes me ridiccculously angry x
never got the appeal with one direction, though, they are harmless...but cher lloyd on the other hand...she's getting to work with one of the most renowned producer/songwriter in the US, cos he fancies the pants of her mentor in the X Factor... how ridiccculous!
matt cardle deserves to do well...i've seen his band play, and i really liked that...and the music they put out, rumours are that he is working with songwriters in the songwriting process...
but facts are facts, since the beginning of the X Factor very few remain....in fact you're lucky to last past ONE single in UK if you come positions 3-12; and if 1st or 2nd....well, only time will tell....
I think JLS (despite the most ridiculous of band names, "Jack the Lad, Swing" for those of you that are unaware...) have been extremely lucky with their career's...perhaps as they are not marketed by Cowell...perhaps not...
But in the UK, just pasting a Cowell-ite inductee's name into a song or album, isn't enough to sell records e.g. Susan Boyle, Paul Potts, Steve Brookstein, G4, Shayne Ward, Andy Abraham, Journey South, Ray Quinn, Ben Mills, Diana Wickers, Same Difference, Eoghan Quigg, Joe, Stacey Solomon, Roberta Satchell, Chico, Mario, Rhydian, Ruth Lorenzo, Laura White and eeven Jedward...
what's worse is those people who have dedicated their lives to music, and pinned their hopes to a talent contest...they find themselves having achieved top 10...top 5...perhaps even top 3, but, due to their exposure they are almost immediately blacklisted...and so end up dispensing the McFlurry's or becoming some pointless guest correspondent, fading into complete obscurity unless another reality tv show, comprising of has-been reality tv stars decides to include themmm....
rant over xx *sigh*

So, it takes an underground train to breakdown in a tunnel, and forgetting your headphones with a fully charged ipod, to succumb to the challenge of composing my top 100 songs of the year (just passed). There maybe a few discrepancies with songs that didn't see the light of release, but, they were available on Itunes, and I own them, so... Only rule is the release (or re-release) must've occurred within 2010. So here goes: 100 Rumer - Aretha 99 Sleigh Bells – Infinity Guitars 98 Duck Sauce – Barbara Streisand 97 JLS – One Shot 96 Alexandra Burke – The Silence 95 You Me At Six – Stay With Me 94 Laura Marling – Rambling Man 93 The Chemical Brothers – Swoon 92 Mark Ronson & The Business Intl. ft. MDMR & Q-Tip - Bang Bang Bang 91 Plan B – She Said Commentary (100-91) Straight in at 100, are the heavily playlisted and Radio 2 favourites, Rumer. On first listening, it felt like a song that was better placed on Magic, but almost immediately, I realised that there was no pretense - it was meant to sound like a 'back in the day classic.' At 99 the Sleigh Bells with Infinity Guitar. Hailing from Brooklyn, USA, this American noise act are tipped for bigger and better things in 2011, counting Zane Lowe among their growing UK fanbase. On first listening, it literally does sound like noise. Worth mentioning that we've remixed one of their tracks due for release in 2011: www.indabamusic.com/submissions/show/39998 - visit the link to vote for our mix, (currently 4th). Duck Sauce exploded back on the scene this year following last year's aNYway, with the infinitely more commercial Barbara Streisand. It's cheesy disco-house at its best, catchy yet harmless at 98. One Shot, however, to me is a piece of offensive harmful catchy pop. Try as I might, I built up some artificial rage the second I heard the JLS club music attempt spun on the radio...but eventually I found myself playlisting and secretly liking it. Miles better than anything else they've released this year, bar none. The Silence, a place higher, to unsubtly remind those of Burke's superiority (though it should be said, Start Without You was worse than anything JLS have EVER put their name to). Stay With Me, picking up where perhaps the Lostprophets left off, before they decided to be underground and less commercial (again). Adele's favourite, Laura Marling, at 94, with Rambling Man. Beautiful acoustic and folky singer-songwriter at its best. Chemical Brothers' Swoon with a beautiful piece of ambient electro. The album is actually one of the better Chemical Brothers' albums and deserved a lot more success in my opinion...but alas, at 93. Bang Bang (repeat) to me, demonstrated the very definition of 'grower.' Absolutely hated it at first - couldn't see where Master Ronson was trying to go, but after a few plays, it instantly became a classic - and kudos also for attempting a completely different style after being so successful (previously) with another. Rewarded for bravery, Ronson, 92. At 91, Plan B, with the surprisingly commercially successful, She Said. Had his collaboration from Harry Brown with Chase & Status been a track from 2010, well I'd go as far to say that the top-10...NO -5 (and quite probably -3) would be very different. So there's a bit of backstage exclusive-ness right there, no more Plan B, in my countdown... In the meantime, vote for our remix: www.indabamusic.com/submissions/show/39998 (takes about 30 seconds, just input your email, then click the link in the email to prove that you're a real boy)...thanks in advance...

1. Leona 2. Diana 3. Lucie 4. Alexandra 5. Matt 6. Rebecca --- big quality gap --- 7. Laura White 8. Ruth Lorenzo 9. poor little Joe 10. Shayne Ward 11. Stacey Solomon 12. Aiden 13. Leon Jackson 14. Miss Frank 15. Austin Drage 16. Rachel Adedeji 17. Cher 18. Mary Byrne 19. Danyl Johnson 20. Nicolo worst: Wagner think that vocally no one can comes to Leona still think the best from all this kinda shows is Alex Parks I swear Brenda was vocally far better than Leona. Rhydian probably was too. Leona is good at singing one type of song only. AGREEED. brenda was great, as was laura white. definetely NOT a big quality gap. Rebecca vs. Laura....come on! Laura had 5 times as much personality and consistency (regarding vocals)! Her versatility surpassed most of whom performed on the show too! T'was a FIX she went out as early as she did...if it had happened like that just this year, I practically guarantee the uproar of Gamu multiplied by FIVE at least, just for re-instation x
