Like many premier league clubs, their success has come from corrupt money, but every other club is ok apparently...

Chelsea is an asset. A business owned 100% by Roman Abramovich (whom has flown back to Moscow today). All this talk of how it’s “unfair to punish Chelsea FC” is absolute nonsense. Chelsea FC only exists at the behest of its owner. If he wanted to just shut the whole thing down tomorrow - as opposed to sell it - he absolutely could. This whole escapade has just exposed how deluded fans are to think they have some kind of ownership of or power over their club. The stark reality is that in these circumstances “fans” are absolutely nothing more than “customers”. Chelsea fans have no more right to demand purchase of tickets for the Boro match than I have a right to insist Woolworths starts trading again so I can buy some Pick N’ Mix ((c) Richard Osman) You don’t have to like that. No true fan of football does. But the idea that these clubs are some sort of public asset is utter nonsense. And fans do nothing but further the interests of their owners & rule makers by continuing to believe it. Those Chelsea fans made a Faustian pact with the proverbial devil when they continued to support the club through the cheating at Premier League Football Manager years when Roman Abramovich spent £1.5 billion of dirty cash amassed through his criminality in Russia winning 5 Premier League titles; 5 FA Cups; 3 Football League Cups; 2 European Champions Leagues; 2 Europa Leagues; & the World Club Championship once... being as authentic as John Terry in his Chelsea strip for the ECL celebrations when unable to play..
Indeed one could argue their trophies are as deserved as the 7 Tour De France victories by Lance Armstrong; and numerous athletes who were suspended after winning Olympic & World titles.
The fact that successive Governments over the last 20 years have allowed this to happen to a number of Premier League clubs in an attempt at "Sports Washing" is a total disgrace which shames this country; and is a separate subject to debate.

And it looks like Boro are now able to sell Chelsea's allocation to their own fans, with 3,200 extra tickets made available for sale.

Poor Chelsea They would be in less trouble if they invaded Ukraine themselves to take all the talent from Shaktar Donetsk's academy for little reward?

I see Cheslea can't fly to their cup game now. Lucky for them there is a £14.96 Megabus from Victoria to Middlesbrough, gets there a bit early but that gives them enough time to have a session at Hollywood Bowl in Stockton, they have 26 lanes

There's a bit of a hold up at the Everton v Newcastle match as someone has used cable ties to attach themselves (by the neck) to one of the goalposts. It took some effort - and the world's largest bolt cutters - to cut the cable ties.

Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall is really desperate for attention these days...

There were a few attempts at that last week (one at the Arsenal match and another at Wolves-Leeds, if I remember correctly). I think it's to do with Extinction Rebellion.

Yeah they're fed up with closing the M25, so let's stop some football games now. So how were there Chelsea fans at the Middlesbrough game? What did I miss?

Chelsea were just banned from selling tickets, those already with tickets could go as their purchase predated the accounts being frozen, There is no ban on Chelsea fans attending games, guess they could buy tickets from Boro too once they went on general sale

Billionaires set to take over Chelsea, like it isn't someone else's turn to get a rich owner and buy some success now... (I mean Charlton Athletic, of course... I wouldn't even mind if it were West Ham or even Spurs.. anyone but Millwall or Palace..)

A billionaire means nothing these days, doesn't Stoke have the 5th richest owner in England?
Sunderland were owned by a multi billionaire and he took them to League 1, now another billionaire owns them and they cant get out of league 1

Just realised Oldham could become the 1st ex Prem side to drop out of the football league. I hope they stay up at the expense of Stevenage.

Good Luck!
I'm off to watch York v Gloucester next saturday, just to tick off their new ground, should they ever make it back into the Football League. Toying with going to a Stockport game as well, as they look certs to come back into the football league after 11 years in the wilderness.

A sacking that seems to have caught everyone out...
Burnley sack manager Sean Dyche with eight games left of Premier League season
Burnley have sacked manager Sean Dyche with eight games left of their season in the Premier League.
The Clarets, who have lost five of their last six top-flight games, are 18th and four points from safety.
Dyche was the Premier League's longest serving manager, having taken over at Turf Moor in October 2012.
Burnley chairman Alan Pace said it was "an incredibly difficult decision" to part company with the 50-year-old, but "we feel a change is needed".
**********************************************
It's a massive gamble and with only 8 games left, can Burnley pull things around?
