Its ready as usual at the beginning of December, beats the rush I say.
anyway heres the 3 songs that just miss the list
201 Brand New - Jesus 202 The Stills - Destroyer 203 Chemical Brothers – The Salmon Dance
Ok and a short pop quiz. One band has 5!!! songs in my top 30 of the year, there is one official chart number one in my top 30 and 2 bands who debuted in 2007 in my top 10.
3 points if you get the first question , 2 points for the 2nd and 5 points each if you get the debut bands hehe (1 is easyish the other a little obscure)

"beats the rush" maybe but I don't compile the chart of the year until the year is complete. However as your chart is usually a bit ahead of mine, I guess for you the year is complete already.
Anyway I will guess that the UK #1 in your top 30 of the year is "Ruby" by the Kaiser Chiefs. It could be Mika but I think Kaiser Chiefs is more likely, and I don't see anything else as conceivable at all.

I'm somewhere in between. I used to do my chart at the beginning of December because there never used to be anything good released in December but the last couple of years there's been a couple of good songs (not enough for me to bother with a monthly chart) so I'll probably start compiling my end of year chart the week before Christmas.

Yep the year is ended for me theres 2 or 3 songs I have boosted as I know they will make my top 5 by Xmas. Doh there is actually 2 number ones in my top 30 and yes Kaiser Chiefs is one of them, forget it made #1 and no its not Mika he missed the Top 200 although he was on the short list Bonus 3 points for finding my 1st mistake hehe

Woohoo! Have all the songs been released as singles? All but 1 song is a 2007 single, it may become a 2008 single but Im not taking any chances and including it now

I have Rumble Strips - Creosote as 2006 but maybe you have that as 2007 (it was quite late 2006) and therefore they are the act with 5 songs (the others being Alarm Clock, Motorcycle, Girls And Boys, Time)

I doubt it but the only ones I can think of are..
Amy Winehouse? (You Know I'm No Good, Back To Black, Tears Dry On Their Own, Valerie, Love Is A Losing Game) Mark Ronson? (Toxic, Stop Me, Oh My God, Valerie, Most Likely To Go Your Way, And I'll Go Mine (Bob Dylan Re-edit))
