Wow Frag thanks for all the comments here' s the next 10 60 Sigur Ros - Hljomalind' 59 Goo Goo Dolls - Before Its Too Late Unofficial video by my favourite band of the last ten years, I actually got to see them at last at T in the Park this year, they are so epic brilliant band. 58 Ash - End of the World I'm sorry Frag but I think this song is as good as any Ash song from the last ten years, really liked their last album. 57 Bloc Party - Hunting For Witches More Bloc Party and there are still two more to come, awesome band. 56 Garbage - Tell Me If It Hurts The brilliant Garbage and Shirley still looks gorgeous. 55 Jack Penate - Spit At The Stars Now somebody new although he reminds me of The Housemartins especially 'Happy Hour' on this song. 54 Linkin Park - What I've Done A back on form Linkin Park this best song on the album shame it wasnt all as good as this and more Transformers in the video hehe (see Goo Goo Dolls) 53 Arctic Monkeys – Brianstorm My favourite Arctic songs change order all the time and if I made the list again ,id probably make 'Fluoroscent Adolescent' higher 52 Maximo Park - Girl Who Play GuitarsThe stand out album track, the one I loved most on 1st listen its just so jumpy love to play it at a Indie Disco. 51 Jimmy Eat World - Big Casino One of MY bands a band I have special love for that don't quite get th esuccess they deserve in the UK. They do well enough worldwide mind you and this comes from a brilliant album,I would say their most consistent album yet.

Tranquilize will feature well in my chart of the year. A shame they played silly games with the release of that single.

Only thing that keeps your chart different is that you still try to hold on to release dates. Only 9 of my Top 75 are not available for download and only half of those are actually 'released' but I dont know how your chart would work without a release day.

thanks Mr Hamster heres the next lot 40 Bloc Party – I Still Remember Bloc Party have 2 songs in the top 40 of the year and lyrically this is probably my favourite Bloc party song but the best Bloc Party song of the year has the beats. 39 !!! - Heart Of Hearts Speaking of beats Chk! Chk! Chk! one of the funkiest indie bands around and they deserve to be as big in UK as Klaxons who kinda rip them of to be honest. 38 Maximo Park – Our Velocity Powerful indie dancefloor classic!!! Just love them!!! 37 LCD Soundsystem - North American Scum Keep on moving the best dance album on 2007. 36 The View – Same Jeans One of two songs in this bunch which is probably too high but I listened to them so much when they were out it was only fair to put them in the top 40. 35 Hard Fi – Suburban Knights I loved their 1st album and 'Hard To Beat' was a year end number one for me this is basically more of the same. 34 Hold Steady - Chips Ahoy Brilliant video & song, no idea why they haven't had mainstream success yet they aint an alternative band to me and somewhat confused about why the indie press love them so much as for me they are a pub band with more in common with Bruce Springsteen,Tom Petty & Huey Lewis than the Displacements but who cares they are awesome. 33 Interpol - The Heinrich Maneuver Great return and I love this most for 'The Scientist Dub' remix you must check it out 32 The Wombats - Let's Dance To Joy Division Another brilliant track again I prefer a remix version, the KGB remix turns the track into a lost Joy Division classic,it is cool and very effective. 31 The Fray - How To Save A Life /me ducks Ok there is always a controversial song in my list but after the first dirgey 30 secs of this track,it gets more & more beautiful and yes it deserves all the Coldplay comparisons, an amazing indie piano ballad.
