A lot of shocks today.
But the biggest has to be Newcastle getting beat.

Pleased to be in the fourth round, and was good to see Billy playing a full strength team even though we're going to have some fixture congestion coming up, another winnable game next round please.

Blimey at Newcastle, Sunderland and Middlesbrough! Derby v Port Vale game was very good even if some of the Vale fans had come for a ruck, never seen so many police at an Fa Cup game, I always try and pick games that are safe as I have my 11 year old son with me, didn't know Vale had such a reputation? They brought a fair few as well, impressive for a league 2 side. Great game, 6 goals cant complain and Burnley came onto the pitch to Arcade Fire - Wake up! Aren't Derby at Crawley on Monday?

A strange carry on in the post match celebrations at the Stevenage v Newcastle game. It would appear that a celebrating Stevenage fan (not a Newcastle fan) walked up to one of the Stevenage players in the centre of the pitch and smacked him hard, knocking him to the ground. I saw the player lying on the ground at the time but missed the actual punch and couldn't work out why stewards etc were surrounding the player. I thought he must have been accidentally knocked over in the celebrations. www.youtube.com/watch?v=A2qNnHsxq6gnews.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/stevenage/9351360.stmFor Newcastle's sake I hope it was a Stevenage fan. Certainly from the comments I have read at some forums the fan did run onto the pitch from the Stevenage end and was dressed in Stevenage colours as well as carrying a Stevenage scarf. Plus after he punches the player he runs to the other Stevenage supporters and joins in the celebrations. The fans at the Newcastle end couldn't have got onto the pitch as there were plenty of stewards at that end of the ground at the end of the game.

Why would you want to punch your own teams player. Maybe he was caught with the fans girlfriend or wife.

I meant Burnley v Port Vale. That punching fan does seem very odd, they should get him easy enough and throw him in prison, love the way he throws the punch and legs it, how bloody brave! As for Middlesbrough losing to Burton, so unlucky, one goal disallowed for offside that wasn't, and then they scored, so could have coasted it at 2-0, but we'll never know... Good to see Villa and Everton progress.

Regarding diving, I think if videos after the event show someone dived for a penalty then the Premier League FA or whoever should 1 match ban the offender, it will soon put a stop to it. But it has to be clear they have dived.

You can wipe out Ipswich already, 3-0 down at half time.

Reafrding diving, I think if videos after the event show someone dived for a penalty then the Premier League FA or whoever should 1 match ban the offender, it will soon put a stop to it. But it has to be clear they have dived. Give the opposing team a free-kick at kick-off when the two teams next meet. And that kick can be applied to the gonads of whichever player they choose.

But it has to be clear they have dived. I do agree they have to do something, but they'll be a stupid rule where if the ref gives a free-kick they can't reverse the decision or something daft. It wasn't long ago that they seemed to have started to book players for diving, but that practice seems to have gone away again at the moment. As for today's, a dive but if I was a Liverpool fan I'd be majorly annoyed at Agger. Such as the way the game is, if there's contact in the penalty area, the attacker will make the most of it, especially if not in a goalscoring position, such as Berbatov was. Don't give him the opportunity to win a penalty by tapping his ankles slightly whilst being no where near the ball, silly challenge.

I'd have to agree, and I'm not going to be a hypocrite and pretend if the scenario was Torres making a mug of Vidic in the same manner, and Liverpool won as a result, I'd be disappointed by the outcome. The thing I'm most disappointed with is ITV naming Berbatov MOTM. What a great example that sends out to young kids watching the game = Cheating is Good! I'm just pleased for the first time in months Liverpool FC turned up on the pitch. Had Liverpool played like that all season, and got the identical results they've so far had this season then the Koppites would have not come close for calling for Hodgson's head. Pass & Move + Passion is the Liverpool way, and always has been since the Shankly era. Oh and I'd like to add I'm disgusted by the handful of so called Liverpool fans shouting "Munich, Munich"; but the sanctimonious hypocrisy of the same so called Man U fans ignoring the fact some of their moronic supporters chanting "Hillsborough ....Crush" started the whole thing off does them zero favours whatsoever. The sooner both clubs got together and publicly announced anyone caught chanting either of those insults is banned for life from those clubs the better.

Liverpool and Man U do seem to have some of the most moronic fans when it comes to games against each other. It really is time both clubs did something to stamp it out.
Dalglish didn't do himself any favours in his post-match interview. Under the laws of the game today Gerrard's red card was correct. When Dalglish was last a manager he would have got away with it but the laws have changed since then. A manager really ought to know that.

My TV predictions: Stevenage v Reading Notts County v Leicester/Man City Southampton v Manchester United Everton v Chelsea Fulham v Tottenham Agree with your last 4, they're the standout ties of the round as it stands atm for me. As for our game i did think it may possibly be shown initially but thought that was probably just me being biased! I'm not sure ESPN will show Stevenage again, not against a Championship club, ITV definitely won't. It really depends on the outcome of the replays, the 5th match to be picked looks open. Heard about two-thirds of the Stevenage game coming back from Reading on Sat on 5Live, 3-1 sounded a fair scoreline, although from watching the highlights Tiote's red card challenge wasn't as bad as the commentatators made it sound. Just knew we'd get them in the next round, other than another Championship club away its the tie i least wanted. Tbh i'd take a replay and beat them at the Mad Stad in the replay. Its strange, we've only reached the 5th rd a handful of times but if we do it this year it won't actually seem that special. The West Brom result was pretty good but it wasn't a surprise and 1-0 up against 10 men for half an hour i expected us to win anyway. Then in the next round we've got a match we're expected to come through.
