Am i right way out thinking euro 2020 starts june2nd are Any other like this it ? All Good Holllaaaa Uppp 🤔🤔🤔😎🤛🏾👍🏼 It starts on June 11. A mixed day for me today. Brighton's win means they should be OK and get a fifth successive season in the top flight for the first time. Sadly, Southend have become the latest side to lose their league place thanks to a dreadful owner.

Fulham need a miracle now to avoid relegation. They need to win their 4 remaining games to stand any chance. Three of those games are against Newcastle, Burnley and Southampton, the three teams immediately above them.
Newcastle are at home to Arsenal tomorrow. A win would certainly be good for us but it depends on what version of Arsenal (and to a degree, Newcastle) turns up.

Manchester United fans have staged a protest today and the game has been postponed. Obviously this is based on the owners and all the European Super League saga.

It was 2020 Non-League Finals Day today with last season's FA Vase and FA Trophy finals being played (behind closed doors because the FA and government don't care about non-league in the slightest).
In the Vase final, Hebburn Town beat Consett 3-2 in an all-Northern League encounter. It's the 9th time in 12 seasons a Northern League club has won the Vase. A Northern League team reached the final in two of the other three seasons. The match featured twin brothers Amar and Arjun Purewal playing on opposing sides. Hebburn are still involved in this season's competition so could complete the double before they move up to step 4 next season (meaning they'll now play in the FA Trophy).
In the FA Trophy final, Harrogate Town beat Concord Rangers 1-0. The sides are now separated by two divisions thanks to Harrogate's promotion last season so the game saw 16th in League Two playing 17th in National League North.
The 2021 Finals Day takes place in 22nd May. Hereford will play Hornchurch in the Trophy final - a match that is step 2 v step 3. The Vase final will see Hebburn, Warrington Rylands or Walsall Wood take on either Binfield or United Services Portsmouth.

It's looked like those three for some time now. Once Newcastle finally started stringing together some decent results, the writing was on the wall.

I think I read that this is the earliest (in Premier League history) all 3 relegation spots have been filled. With Man City very close to winning the title it could mean going into the last couple of games with very little to get excited about.

I get a little tingle every time Tottenham, Arsenal or Liverpool fail to win a match. (City, United and Chelsea too, but that happens less often).
Come on Leicester and West Ham.

2004 was similar, Leeds, Wolves and Leicester all bottom, finishing with the same number of points, next up were Everton I think but they were comfortably above those three, whilst Arsenal ran away with the title unbeaten.

Spurs are done as a team now. Like Newcastle in the late 1990s and a bit for them in the early 2000s they were up there near the top but always bottling it, but like Newcastle, they will drop into mid-table obscurity. I don't think they'll get relegated though.
Arsenal haven't been up there for a while. There's still a chance they can finish above Spurs this season, atlhough they still have Chelsea to play, but that's about it for them.
Leicester and West Ham look determined to bottle it, so Liverpool might get the 4th spot but they may have to beat Manchester United on the way.
City, United and Chelsea are way above the rest of the league.

Tranmere have this morning sacked manager Keith Hill, days after clinching a League Two playoff spot. It seems a strange decision on the face of it but the reaction from Tranmere fans seems overwhelmingly positive.

Wow, really, not even giving him a chance to get them up via the playoffs? Maybe he's going to Bradford? I'll see what my Tranmere mate thinks of it...They were near the bottom of the table earlier in the season, so to get them up into the playoffs is good imo, especially as they rely on Vaughan so much, and my mate told he was injured and they floundered after that.

The comments of the fans seem to indicate it was the previous caretakers (who will be in charge again) who started the playoff push and Hill came into a winning team and has made it gradually worse. Apparently after Saturday's defeat, he slagged off the players and fans and said there was a lack of unity. The chairman apparently agreed with the last part of that
