English football fans head to Wikipedia to find out who on Earth Kelty Hearts are Please let me know when you find out. I don't recall it from vastar iner 's Scottish football grounds thread.

I know Kelty Hearts but only because Murray used to mention them, and my Scottish team Berwick Rangers have been playing them since they were recently relegated. Will Brechin go into the Highland League?

Will Brechin go into the Highland League? They should, given where it is. It will mean the two fifth tier leagues will have 18 teams, assuming the money-grabbing plan to have Rangers' and Celtic's "Colts" sides in the Lowland League goes ahead.

I haven't seen much of the u23s in recent years (barely even followed them last season) but he's a left winger and was highly rated. At the start of the season it was thought he may even make the bench as we didn't have a big squad and obviously 9 subs available but he just disappeared, think it later came out he had a serious injury (after checking he didn't play much for the u23s last season). He never did make the bench in the end I don't think, even in the cup. I'd forgotten he was out of contract, but given he's only 19 is there a fee involved? Will be interesting to see how he does.

The 2021 Finals Day takes place in 22nd May. Hereford will play Hornchurch in the Trophy final - a match that is step 2 v step 3. The Vase final will see Hebburn, Warrington Rylands or Walsall Wood take on either Binfield or United Services Portsmouth. Binfield got to the final - they're not far from where I live! I think I nominated them for our FA cup team a few years back... Yeah happened to catch most of their penalty shootout in the semis on BBC Radio Berkshire. Very unusual situation where a US Portsmouth penalty hit the post but no one knew until something like a couple of penalties later that it had actually crossed the line! At that point I think US Portsmouth were leading so it may have got interesting if they'd taken longer to confirm it or if US Portsmouth had been further clear..

Think if Reading offered him a new contract and he rejected it there will be a tribunal fee set at some point with him being 19

Congratulations to Brentford on gaining promotion to the Premier League. I doubt they'll survive more than a season but it's good to see them there.

They will be my second team next season, and I'll be hoping they can survive for at least a second year. Brentford should serve as a lesson to all those boards at Championship sides who mortgage their club's future by wasting ridiculous amounts of money trying to reach the Premier Division, and then wash their hands when it all goes horribly wrong.

While I would have preferred Bournemouth to go back up, it is good news that Brentford's first match in their new stadium with a full crowd will be in the Premier league.

And congrats to Sutton United making the Football league which seems to have been forgotten in this Premier League obsessed nation. Another team ripping up their "plastic pitch" because of FA regulations... I guess Sutton is slightly nearer than Torquay for me to visit next season, although Torquay could still come up through the playoffs, although I'd prefer Hartlepool or Stockport.

Turns out playing no central midfielders, no strikers and no left backs doesn't win you the Champions League, Pep lost that one in his head before a ball was even kicked

Also glad that Brentford won yesterday. It was about time they won the playoffs! Will be nice to see them in the Prem in their new stadium, especially as the fans will be able to go as suedehead mentioned. They deserved to go up over the season, didn't see either of their games against Reading but I don't think any team had a better aggregate score in league meetings against us (6-2) than them.

No, they should have got promoted last season by beating Barnsley at home on their final game.
