Schalke are rumoured to be the latest club joining the Super League, presumably because every other Bundesliga club has said no.
Borussia Dortmund and Porto are among the clubs to publicly confirm they have declined to take part.

My views on this are quite simple: Kick them out of their respective domestic; UEFA; & FIFA club & international competitions:
Revised Current EPL table:
1 Leicester 31 56 +18 2 West Ham 32 55 +11 3 Everton 31 49 +3 4 Leeds 31 45 +0 --------------- 5 Aston Villa 30 44 +10 6 Wolves 32 41 -9
FA Cup Winners: Leicester
EFL Cup Winners: Brentford
Revised Current La Liga table:
1 Sevilla 31 64 +21 2 Villareal 31 49 +14 3 Real Betis 31 48 -3 4 Real Sociedad 31 47 +15 -------------- 5 Granada 30 39 -14 6 Levante 31 38 -6
Revised Current Serie A table:
1 Atalanta 31 64 +34 2 Napoli 31 60 +31 3 Lazio 30 58 +10 4 Roma 31 54 +8 ------------ 5 Sassuolo 31 46 +3
2020/21 European Champions League:
Winners: Paris St Germain
2020/21 Europa League:
Final: Roma v Villareal

Without those six, West Ham would be 9 points clear at the top.

On a more serious note, well said Jurgen Klopp.

It will be interesting to see what happens these next few days and weeks, if nothing is resolved and this goes ahead as planned - especially on the players and managers.
With sanctions being imposed on players who get involved in the Super League by banning them from playing in domestic and international competitions, it will be telling to see what the repercussions are in amongst the big 6 clubs. I mean other than the players who know they have a slim chance of getting into their respective international team or players who play purely for money, who will want to play in this competition with all these threats hanging across and play under huge scrutiny?
Same goes with the managers too - we've lost one already in Mourinho. More to come perhaps?

One more thing to add:
Some of you may know I work for a popular high street bookmaker. Today we suspended betting on outright winners for the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Champions League, Europa League, World Cup and European Championship... Make you wonder if there could be a big announcement coming by the end of the week...

League table if the results of the six traitor clubs are expunged:
1. West Ham 21-49 (+21) 2. Leicester 22-40 (+15) 3. Leeds 22-39 (+11) 4. Aston Villa 22-34 (+7) 5. Everton 21-34 (+4) 6. Crystal Palace 22-32 (0) 7. Newcastle 23-32 (-4) 8. Southampton 21-30 (+1) 9. Wolves 22-30 (-1) 10. Brighton 22-26 (0) 11. Burnley 21-26 (-1) 12. Fulham 23-21 (-8) 13. West Brom 21-17 (-21) 14. Sheff Utd 21-11 (-24)

Sheff Utd 21-11 (-24) So, West Ham, Leicester, Leeds and Aston Villa or Everton into the Champions League. Southampton into the UEFA Europa League as FA Cup losers. Everton or Aston Villa (+ Palace or Newcastle ? - not sure how many qualify) also into the UEFA Europa League. No relegation. Norwich, Watford and four from Swansea, Brentford, Bournemouth, Barnsley and Reading promoted. Bring it on.

Spurs sacking of Mourinho was perfectly timed. They knew that if they did it yesterday it would get lost amongst the outrage over the ESL, which means there'd be almost no scrutiny of the Spurs Board's decision to off-load Pochettino and bring in Mourinho to improve everything.
Pochettino's finishing positions as Spurs manager:- 5th-3rd-2nd-3rd-4th Mourinho's:- 6th-7th
Obviously, Pochettino was a failure, as he is proving at PSG.

Norwich, Watford and four from Swansea, Brentford, Bournemouth, Barnsley and Reading promoted. Bring it on. Europa League places go to 5th place in the league, FA cup winners (not finalists); The league cup winners go into the new Europa Conference League. Since Leicester win the FA cup in this scenario, their EL place goes to 6th place. As it stands in the "records expunged" scenario: West Ham, Leicester, Leeds and Aston Villa into CL, Everton and Crystal Palace into EL, and Brentford into the Europa Conference League (or perhaps Newcastle if they simply don't award the League Cup to anyone).

I'd heard a rumour they were being expelled from the Champions League on friday, which would hand it to PSG, but then there would be no big tv final or semi finals, so the tv companies would lose money? Could they put Dortmund, Porto and Atalanta or Leipzig back in to play the semis? I cant see them booting them out of anywhere, but I will wait and see. You definately need to give players the chance to move away in the summer for their international careers if they decide that is more important than money.

A sports journalist today stated that if all these top players are banned from playing in the Euros or World Cup, then these tournaments would be seriously devalued, as the best players would not be taking part.
Would fans want to watch Argentina v Spain or England V Italy without the big names?
These clubs probably hoping they don't, and FIFA won't dare ban them.
Time will tell.

It's like the ending of Gremlin 2: The New Batch (which was a homage to the finale of Godfather II).
Every club seeming to be rushing to announce they are leaving the ESL / or never signed up to it in the first place like Barcelona!
All whilst on a Zoom call of the chairmen to abort the project.
Reports: Andrea Agnellil resigns as president of Juventus; Ed Woodward has resigned from Man Utd - albeit at the end of the season.
Proper carnage amongst the reputational damage.
