Cameroon come from behind to beat Switzerland and claim 2nd place, setting up a last 16 meeting with China. Switzerland will go through as well as long as either Nigeria or Spain fail to win their final game.

Australia's draw with Sweden is enough to take them through to the last 16 as group runners-up and leaves the Swedes' World Cup hopes on a knife-edge. They must hope for either an England or Costa Rica defeat tonight or that the Spain-South Korea game finishes as a draw. Australia will meet Brazil in Round 2.

England progress with victory over Colombia, who also progress despite the defeat. An easy win for France sees them top the group. England face Norway in the last 16 on Monday. France will face the runners-up from Group E but now find themselves in the same half of the draw as Germany and the USA.

Don't know much about the the pecking order in the owmen's game but am I right in thinking Norway would be favourites to win against England.
From what I can gather England have a few problems defensively and have had a couple of costly lapses of concentration.

Norway are good, but not that good, I can only find the fifa rankings from march/april
England 6 Norway 11 France 3 Columbia and Mexico 28/25
so looks like it will be a real test but one we can overcome

They are the hosts and went unbeaten in the group stage... They also knocked out GB (which was effectively England + one Scot) at the last Olympics.
Given the bottom half of the draw, 25/1 looks a great each-way price for England.

North Korea (actually =8th). They were banned from this World Cup because some of their players failed drugs tests at the last one.

2nd round: No surprises in the first two last 16 matches as China end Cameroon's enjoyable run, and Sweden's underwhelming World Cup ends without a win as they are soundly beaten by favourites Germany.

2nd round: The Matildas cause a huge shock, knocking out Brazil and becoming the first Australian team, male or female, to win a knockout match at a World Cup. They'll face either Japan or Holland in the quarter-finals.
