Match 12, Ahmedabad: Pakistan 191 (42.5)Babar 50; Bumrah 2-19 India 192-3 (30.3)Rohit 86, Shreyas 53; Shaheen 2-36 India win by 7 wicketsPlayer of the Match: Jasprit Bumrah The latest renewal of one of the fiercest rivalries in cricket was a one-sided encounter as a monumental batting collapse by Pakistan left India chasing just 192 to win. Pakistan had been going well, reaching 155-2 in the 30th over but lost 8 wickets for just 36 runs. 5 different Indian bowlers took 2 wickets each. India raced towards their target in rapid fashion, sealing victory with almost 20 overs to spare to make it 3 wins out of 3 and end Pakistan's 100% record.

Match 13, Delhi: Afghanistan 284 (49.5)Gurbaz 80, Alikhil 58; Rashid 3-42 England 215 (40.3)Brook 66; Rashid 3-37, Mujeeb 3-51 Afghanistan win by 69 runsPlayer of the Match: Mujeeb Ur Rahman Afghanistan pull off a huge upset by beating the world champions and end their own 15-game losing streak at the World Cup. Batting first Afghanistan made a rapid start to their innings but England's bowlers checked their progress with several quick wickets. However, England couldn't finish the job and Afghanistan went on to set a target of 285. England were still favourites at that point but lost wickets far too regularly with their biggest partnership a measly 35. Harry Brook made 66 off 61 balls but once he was gone, so were England's chances.

Afghanistan played superbly, especially their spinners. This result certainly opens up the competition.

Match 14, Lucknow: Sri Lanka 209 (43.3)Perera 78, Nissanka 61; Zampa 4-47 Australia 215-5 (35.2)Inglis 58, Marsh 52; Madushanka 3-38 Australia win by 5 wicketsPlayer of the Match: Adam Zampa Australia pick up their first win after surviving a wobble against Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka started well with Perera and Nissanka putting on 125 for the 1st wicket but they collapsed to 209 all out in an innings disrupted by rain. Australia lost David Warner and Steve Smith early in their chase but 50s for Marsh and Inglis calmed the nerves, enabling the Baggy Greens to climb off the foot of the table.

Match 15, Dharamsala: Netherlands 245-8 (43)Edwards 78*; Jansen 2-27, Rabada 2-56, Ngidi 2-57 South Africa 207 (42.5)Miller 43; van Beek 3-60 Netherlands win by 38 runs (match reduced to 43 overs per side) Player of the Match: Scott Edwards Netherlands pull off the tournament's second shock in the space of 3 days, beating South Africa. The Dutch were in trouble at 82-5 but rallied after a rain delay with skipper Scott Edwards' 78 off 69 balls taking his side to 245-8. In reply, South Africa were reduced to 44-4 and never got out of that hole, with Netherlands finishing things off with the penultimate ball of the match. It's only the 3rd ever World Cup win for the Dutch and the first time they have beaten a test playing nation at the 50-over World Cup.

Once again, the Dutch had to dig themselves out of a hole after losing early wickets but a 7th wicket stand of 130 gave them hope. Sri Lanka were patient in their pursuit and reached their target with 10 balls to spare. The result means every team at this year's tournament has now won a match.

Match 20, Mumbai: South Africa 399-7 (50)Klaasen 109, Hendricks 85, Jansen 75*, van der Dussen 60; Topley 3-88 England 170 (22)Wood 43*; Coetzee 3-35 South Africa win by 229 runsPlayer of the Match: Heinrich Klaasen Another humiliating defeat for England, whose World Cup hopes melted away in the Indian heat as they suffered their heaviest ever loss in a ODI. South Africa pummelled the England bowling attack, finishing one run shy of 400. England's run chase was an utter shambles with only Gus Atkinson and Mark Wood, batting at 9 and 10 respectively, making more than 17. England also lost bowler Reece Topley to a broken finger and he will miss the rest of the tournament. England can call up a replacement but it won't be Jofra Archer, who, despite travelling with the squad as a reserve, isn't deemed fit enough to play.

New Zealand posted a modest 273, despite Daryl Mitchell's century. India always looked in control of their run chase, anchored by Virat Kohli, who fell agonisingly short of a second hundred in a row with the winning line in sight.

Match 22, Chennai: Pakistan 282-7 (50)Babar 74, Shafique 58; Noor 3-49 Afghanistan 286-2 (49)Zadran 87, Rahmat 77*, Gurbaz 65 Afghanistan win by 8 wicketsPlayer of the Match: Ibrahim Zadran Afghanistan pull off another stunning win, chasing down 283 for the loss of just 2 wickets to beat Pakistan. The win puts them very much in the mix for a semi-final place. A solid bowling effort from a line-up containing 4 spinners kept Pakistan to under 300 but Afghanistan were magnificent with the bat, putting on 130 for their first wicket, and it always looked like they would reach their target, eventually doing do with an over to spare.
