The last weekend of the English and Scottish league season...
Saturday 12 May
National League: It's Boreham Wood v Tranmere in the play-off final. Boreham Wood have never been in the football league; Tranmere were there from 1921 to 2015, and lost last season's play-off final.
SPL: Ross County will be relegated unless they win and Partick Thistle don't, in which case they'll have a relegation play-off final
against Livingston or Dundee United.
Conversely, Partick Thistle will be relegated if they don't win and Ross do; they'll be in the play-offs otherwise, unless they win, Hamilton lose, and there's a 14-goal swing.
Scottish League Two: The winners of the Peterhead v Stenhousemuir final will be promoted. Stenhousemuir lead 2-0 after the first leg. Cowdenbeath will be relegated (and Cove Rangers will take their place) if they lose their play-off final (first leg was 0-0).
Sunday 13 May
Premier League: Liverpool will take the final Champions League place unless they lose and Chelsea win. The fifth-placed team will enter the Europa League, unless Liverpool are overtaken, but then win the Champions League final.
Swansea will be relegated unless they beat Stoke, Southampton lose to Man City, and there's a 10-goal swing.
SPL: Rangers will claim the a Europa League spot unless they lose at Hibernian by six goals. The fourth-placed team will still reach the EL if Celtic beat Motherwell in next week's final.
Scottish Championship: Dumbarton will be relegated if Alloa overturn a 1-0 deficit in the play-off final second leg.
Finally getting around to this update - I've been looking after three kids by myself since Saturday!
Promoted last weekend: Tranmere (NL), Stenhousemuir (SL2), Alloa (SL1)
Confirmed safe via play-off win: Cowdenbeath (SL2)
Relegated: Ross County (SPL), Swansea (PL), Dumbarton (SC)
In relegation play-offs: Partick Thistle (SPL)
In the Champions League: Liverpool (PL)
In the Europa League: Chelsea (PL), Rangers (SPL)
Special mention to Rangers and Hibs, who played out a 5-5 draw on the final day! Hibs were 3-0 up and halfway to the win they needed to overtake Rangers, but Rangers stormed back to 3-3 at half time, and led 5-3 before Hibs themselves fought back.
